The JCB aerial work platform maintained relatively strong growth in the context of the relative slowdown in the global market in 2023.

On the basis of 2022 to a new level, in 2023, the JCB aerial work platform launched the A45E electric bending arm type and A45EH hybrid bending arm aerial work platform, and the T65D diesel powered straight arm aerial work platform; The custom version of the hydraulic drive (H-Drive) shear fork aerial work platform has successfully entered the Korean market. JCB said that in 2024, it will continue to expand the product series of aerial work platforms, and plans to launch the A60E electric version and A60EH hybrid version of the curved arm aerial work platform, the T85D diesel electric version of the straight arm aerial work platform, and release the upgraded electric drive (E-Drive) shear fork aerial work platform for the Korean and Australian markets.

As a relatively young business area under JCB, JCB aerial work platform achieved sales of 121.5 million pounds in 2023 (sales of 88 million pounds in 2022), an increase of 37.5%. Profit before tax was £15.298 million (2022: £1.199 million).

JCB expects that the global aerial work platform market and its aerial work platform business will continue to grow. The short-term goal of JCB aerial work platform will focus on promoting new products to the market, while expanding sales and support network, and continuously improving global market position and market share.
