On March 21, the Skaijko aerial work platform manufacturing base project invested by Canada Linamar Group was officially put into operation in the Tianjin Port (4.330, -0.04, -0.92%) free trade zone. In 2022, Canada Linamar Group invested in the establishment of aerial work platform manufacturing base project in the free trade zone - Skegeco Asia Pacific (Tianjin) Machinery Co., LTD., the registered capital of the project is 30 million US dollars, which is the first factory established by Skegeco brand in the Asia Pacific region.

It is reported that the Skajko aerial work platform manufacturing base project is constructed in two phases. Among them, the new factory of the first phase has been built, covering an area of 62,700 square meters, construction area of about 31,500 square meters, including office area, product manufacturing area, warehouse area, finished product display area and other functional areas, the main products are scissor-type and arm type aerial work platform; The second phase of the plant is expected to start construction in 2027, and the main products are arm aerial work platforms and telescopic arm fork loading trucks. Five assembly lines (scissor car, straight arm type) and related welding production lines, one automatic spraying production line, after putting into operation will realize the local production of SKecJko brand in the Chinese market, the products will cover the entire Asia-Pacific region, reaching an annual output value of about 1.2 billion yuan, is an important step for SKECJko to expand the global territory.
