        Therefore, when the mechanical failure, to detect through the detection equipment, such as no detection equipment, through the "ask, look, check, test" and other traditional fault judgment methods and means, combined with the structure and working principle of the aerial work platform, to determine the most likely fault location.

        In determining the failure of the high-altitude working platform, the "elimination method" and "comparison method" are generally used, in accordance with the order from simple to complex, first appearance after interior, first assembly and then components, and it is forbidden to "do not ask indiscriminate, blindly dismantle and unload".   

      2. The phenomenon of blindly replacing parts and blindly "replacing parts and repairing" exists to varying degrees

       The judgment and elimination of the fault of the aerial work platform is relatively difficult, some maintenance personnel have always used the method of replacement test, regardless of the large and small parts, as long as the parts that may be the cause of the failure, one by one replacement test, the result is not only the fault has not been eliminated, and the parts that should not be replaced at will, increasing the cost of the lessor.

       There are also some faulty parts can completely recover their technical performance through repair, do not need complex repair process can be repaired, but maintenance personnel require users to replace new parts, blindly take the "replacement repair" method, resulting in serious waste.

      The above blind replacement test and blind replacement of repairable parts still exist in some repair units to varying degrees. In the maintenance, we should carefully analyze and judge the cause and location of the fault according to the fault phenomenon, and take repair methods to restore the technical performance of the parts that can be repaired, and eliminate the practice of blindly replacing parts.  

       3, do not check the quality of new parts, the problem of failure after assembly is more common

       Before replacing the parts, some maintenance personnel do not do technical checks on the new parts, and they are directly installed on the aerial work platform after being brought. At present, the quality of spare parts sold on the market is uneven, and some fake and shoddy parts are mixed; There are also some parts due to the inventory time is too long, the performance changes, if not tested, often cause failure after assembly.

       Before replacing the new parts, we must carry out the necessary inspection and test, including the appearance and performance test, to ensure that the new parts are trouble-free and eliminate unnecessary trouble caused by it.
