Su Zimeng, president of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, pointed out that industry enterprises continue to increase their efforts to explore the international market, international competitive advantages and global service quality are further improved, the global marketing service network is more sound, overseas training, logistics network and spare parts supply system construction is further strengthened. China's construction machinery overseas business accounted for the proportion of the overall business, international market share and reputation steadily increased. In the long run, the development of the construction machinery industry as a whole will show a stable and good trend, and future exports are still expected to maintain a high level.

      Data show that in the first four months of this year, China's construction machinery imports and exports of 17.112 billion US dollars, an increase of 27%. Among them, the export value was 16.268 billion US dollars, an increase of 30.5%. The export of high-tech products has increased significantly, and the exports of crawler excavators, loaders, road rollers, bulldozers, and electric forklifts have shown rapid growth.

      The high-quality development of the construction machinery industry is also reflected in the further improvement of independent innovation capability. Recently, Su Zimeng attended the 16th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building materials machinery and mining machinery Exhibition and Technology Exchange Conference (BICES 2023) press conference and exhibitors reserve meeting, said that construction machinery industry enterprises continue to increase research and development investment, through the strengthening of industry-university-research and use cooperation, a number of new high-tech products to achieve industrialization. A number of technical equipment adapted to new scenarios and new construction methods have been put into use, a number of smart construction technologies and equipment have been applied experimentally, and new achievements have been made in the development and application of a number of major technical equipment. At the same time, the industry enterprises focus on the problem of shortcomings, and gradually realize the autonomy and control of some key components and broader practical applications through technology upgrading, the basic capacity of the industry and the modernization level of the industrial chain have been significantly improved, and the high-end, intelligent and green development of the industry has been highlighted.
