Manitong Group has opened a new spare parts logistics centre in Greater Noida (India). The new logistics center, located on the outskirts of New Delhi, is designed to support the group's growth in high-potential markets. Spare parts in the warehouse will be dedicated to maintaining machines made at the group's Indian plant in Greater Noida.

         This is Manitong Group's eighth logistics centre worldwide and is part of the company's strategy to develop its production and distribution activities in markets with high growth potential, meeting the Group's ambition to develop production and sales activities in the region in the coming years.

         The logistics centre is located on the outskirts of New Delhi and the spare parts stored in the warehouse will be dedicated to servicing machines made at Manidu's India plant, also located in Greater Noida. They will be shipped mainly to Asia, but also to South America and Africa, where Indian-made compact rail loaders, long-range transport aircraft and dig loaders are distributed.

         It is understood that the center was launched in January this year and was built in less than a year. The new logistics center at the site has quadrupled in size to more than 8,300 square meters with a maximum capacity of 90,000 orders per year. To ensure quality of service, 40 employees will work on a rotating basis at the new facility. Pile-yves Margonne, Vice President of the Spare Parts Business Unit, said :" This new logistics centre will allow us to continue to improve the service we offer to our customers in the region, where the Group has huge ambitions. This warehouse will also benefit from the process and process management standards of our other logistics centers to optimize the safety of our employees and carriers."
